With the continued generosity of individual and business donors in our community, we can offer counseling at a discounted rate for those who qualify based on their financial resources. 

A therapist’s regular rate is discounted by 10%, the client makes a co-pay based on income assessment, and the balance of the rate is paid by the Seeds of Life scholarship Fund.

Client copays are determined based on financial and therapeutic circumstances. The minimum client copay is:

• Individual Sessions: $60.00
• Child/ Family Sessions: $90.00
• Marriage sessions: $90.00

The maximum individual income to qualify is $50,000 annually.
The maximum combined income to qualify is $85,000 annually.

Clients are required to pay for their first session in full prior to applying for the scholarship. This helps establish a financial investment in the therapy process.

Applications cannot be approved without all the required paperwork being present. This includes a completed application, a copy of your most recent tax return, and a paycheck stub that includes a year-to-date total. The therapist’s regular rate will be charged until the application has been completely processed. We will not review any applications without all supporting documents present.

Scholarships are approved for a 3-6 month duration. After the initial period has expired, clients are encouraged to re-apply if therapy exceeds the awarded term. The therapy session rate will return to the standard rate unless you are approved for one additional renewal period. Scholarships are awarded at a maximum of 12 months with exceptions made on a case-by-case basis.

The email address, scholarship@myliferesources.org, should be used for all client communication involving scholarship assistance. The administrative staff will notify you via email on the status of your application from this email address.

The Seeds of Life Scholarship is intended for those who have a financial need to receive therapy. We encourage clients to self-submit for reimbursement from their insurance company for any out-of-network benefits before applying for a scholarship.
