Help us provide emotional, spiritual, and relational wellness in the Lowcountry and beyond

We are passionate about the accessibility of our services. Since our founding in 2010, it was apparent that many people could not afford the standard rates for counseling, even those with moderate income. No insurance panels cover some services, such as marriage counseling. 

Over the years, we were approached by grateful clients who wanted to come alongside others to help them receive services. Churches also began to provide scholarship assistance for people to receive counseling through Life Resources.

At the same time, therapists sought out Life Resources for mentoring in their professional development. We realized the need to support therapists with greater access to professional development, either by raising funds to bring high-caliber training to Charleston or by offsetting costs to send therapists elsewhere for training.

In 2014, Life Resources formed Seeds of Life, Inc. as a non-profit vehicle to further support our mission of healing, equipping, and training.

The Seeds of Life Fund helps provide faith-based mental health related services to those who could not otherwise afford them. The fund is designed to promote excellent and affordable services and has three primary objectives:

• To financially assist those in need of counseling services that they would otherwise be unable to afford. It is designed for the therapist, client, and donor to work collaboratively to make quality care accessible.
• To offset the cost of continuing education and other training opportunities for mental health professionals to grow in their clinical and theological competency.
• To be a key auxiliary resource for the general public, churches, and organizations in the Lowcountry by providing teaching and workshops at a free or reduced cost.

Because of God’s grace and our generous donors and partners, we have never turned anyone away for inability to pay.provi
