How do I get started?
Simply complete our form to request an appointment and a member of our client care team will be in contact with you.
When can I see a therapist?
Clients are seen by appointment only. Regular office hours are Monday - Thursday 9am – 6pm and Friday 9am – 2pm. Select therapists offer sessions outside of regular office hours, for more information please call (843) 884-3888.
Where is Life Resources located?
Life Resources currently serves the Lowcountry area in two office locations: Mount Pleasant (890 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. Building 3, Suite A Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464) and North Charleston (9263 Medical Plaza Dr. Suite B N. Charleston, SC 29406).
Do you offer telehealth?
We offer telehealth therapy to all clients. However, our services are only available to South Carolina residents according to the SC State Licensing Board.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual fees vary per therapist and service. Payment is due at time of service, and credit cards must be kept on file per our cancellation policy.
Do therapists at Life Resources accept insurance?
Some of our therapists accept insurance. For therapists that do not accept insurance, we are happy to supply a superbill that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement.
What kinds of counseling are offered?
Individual, couples, adolescent, and family therapy are all available in a wide range of modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for marriage counseling.
Can I have someone pray for me?
As a faith-based mental health resource center, we believe that only God can truly heal a broken heart and bring restoration and transformation. At the client’s request, we offer prayer ministry as a free and confidential adjunctive service to therapy. Trained and experienced prayer ministers volunteer their time to come alongside our clients to help them experience the forgiveness, compassion, and healing Presence of Jesus Christ.
Are therapy sessions private and confidential?

What if I can’t afford therapy?
Thanks to our Seeds of Life Scholarship, Life Resources offers therapy to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. To apply for financial assistance, please complete a scholarship application here.
How can I donate to the scholarship fund?

How do I cancel my appointment?
A minimum of 24 hours notice in advance is required for cancelation. Please note, insurance companies will not cover missed or cancelled sessions. In these cases, the client will be responsible for the full session fee.
