Lindsay Pennell, M.A.
Licensed Professional Counselor, Associate
Lindsay Pennell, M.A., is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and adolescents experience lasting healing and meaningful change. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and concerns related to faith and spirituality.
Lindsay is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She primarily works from an attachment-based, experiential approach, helping clients identify the deeper emotions and patterns that often drive distress so they can strengthen relationships, process painful experiences, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
Drawing from her experience in both inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment, Lindsay tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, integrating evidence-based approaches with compassionate, personalized care. For clients who desire it, she also welcomes the opportunity to incorporate their Christian faith into the counseling process.
Lindsay strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She approaches each person with warmth, authenticity, compassion, and genuine curiosity, believing healing occurs through secure relationships and meaningful connection.
Outside of the counseling office, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years and their three children. Whether cheering from the sidelines at a soccer field, spending time on the water, enjoying the beach, or going for a run, she values opportunities to be active and connected with her family.
